Why not embroider your own table runner with this beautiful Scandi Yule design? Or gift someone a kit, who is into this craft. 
The kit comprises a blank table runner, made from a high quality ridge-textured cotton fabric,  available in grey and pillar-box red. 
Because of this texture it is not possible to print the design directly onto the fabric, so I traced it for you on a washable adhesive fabric, stuck to the table runner. You can embroider directly on this and when you finished, simply soak the fabric in lukewarm water, rub off the adhesive fabric, rinse and dry. All traces of it will have disappeared, leaving only your beautiful embroidery.
 
The kit also contains:
- a 15 cm/6inch embroidery hoop
- a Chenille needle
Full skeins of high quality DMC Mouline embroidery thread, 6 stranded cotton in all the colours used in the sample seen in the images.
